Quite an eventful weekend.

 

Friday: Dinner with the mom, sis and brother in law at IVARS. Floater concert at the Croc. Bar hopping and dancing in Fremont. *phew*

 

Saturday: Wake up at the crack of noon. BBQ at dads with the sis and brother in law. Then the much anticipated Spelling Bee(r) party at Jai Thai on Cap Hill. See pictures.

 

Sunday: Wake up EARLY to run Beat the Bridge. An 8k starting and ending at Husky Stadium. Back for a mid afternoon nap.. some grocery shopping and then wine and dinner with the Raq.

Its just after 2am. I'm physically and emotionally exhausted. Yet I feel compelled to blog.

Two weeks in LA, back to back to back 18+ hour days, shitty food, crowds, a perpetually sweaty nut sac, cut up fingers and coffee hot enough to seize a nuclear reactor being poured on my junk.

Friends who find themselves torn between whether or not they want to be involved in my life. Friends who don't trust themselves around me. Friends who can't live true to themselves.

Sunshine, cold beers, laughter, conversation and great sex. Oysters and salmon. Americanos. Meeting old acquaintances again for the first time. Billiards. My boys. Plans. Vacation.
