For those of you keeping score at home, my phone finally died. I'd like to introduce to you the new hotness: Moto PEBL. Not only is it 1000 times better than my old phone (bless its call dropping soul), it was inexpensive!

Well I finally did it - I paid off my car.

 

Now about a year without payments and a little OT and I can look at buying myself an M3. Oh snap! Watch out, Ben.

Those of you who regularly peek here for updates to the supposed "picture-a-day" must be asking yourselves: When in the hell is he going to post something NEW... I'm tired of looking at those damned fish sticks.

 

Well the answer, my friends, is soon.

 

Posting pictures isn't the only thing I've grown lax in. Not only has the blog not been updated in awhile but... remember my lent convictions? Yeah... about that.

 

I have no excuse other than I've been having way too much fun and this last weekend has to be among the top ten best weekends I've ever had. It started in the early evening on Friday and ended very early Monday morning. Club hopping in Seattle, dancing, pool, Redhook brewery tour, wine tasting at the Chateau Ste Michelle, dinners, frozen morning runs, hot tubbing under the stars and moon while drinking merlot, watching horrible and excellent movies and most importantly making new friends.  There were so many pictures taken it felt like we were tourists. I'm going to have a hard time finding the right ones to post too... heh.

 

So I guess that is my excuse.

Well Lent is upon us.

 

For those of you who aren't familiar with it, Lent is the forty day period from Ash Wednesday to Easter, not including Sundays. Because Lent is a "season of grief" this, traditionally, is a period of fasting (ie giving up something you ordinarily enjoy). This season I've decided to fast alcohol and caffeine.

Yes, I know. But I'm not alone! Many of my friends have also decided to fast either out of support or belief. Some have given up alcohol, others are doing sweets and the devout are not only fasting but also giving up meat on Fridays.
