We went to a concert last Friday - Floater. We try to see them everytime they come into town. They're local to Portland, but travel up here often. If you like a Tool-ish sound with some killer bass lines, give these guys a listen to.

 

 

I added a  music video for your pesonal viewing enjoyment. Blacksheep is good.. but its not their best. And.. AND! They're one of the fewer bands out there that actually sound better live than on CD er whatnot.

For Christmas, my friends came together and purchased a pretty sweet stereo for Scarlet (aka my Eclipse). Because I've been out of town and busy with work, I just now got around to having it installed.

 

Wow!

 

Since I had that POS factory system in there I didn't realize how powerful my speakers actually were. Until now.

I was a police officer. In Issaquah. My partner and I were responding to a call on the Issy-Hobart road. We were driving fast down the hobart... lights on.. no sirens. No traffic. Quiet. We round a bend and go into a tunnel (on the hobart?? I know..) We come out and immediately run over a body. The body stays under the car for a bit and we drag it, leaving a thick blood trail. We double back and drive back to where we ran over the body and stop. Its like we're in a little valley and there's earth on either side of us. The earth starts to come loose exposing large holes ... and bloody corpses start oozing out... like worms. The bodies stop... but bugs come out afterwards. Large bugs. With pinchers... like the bugs from Starship Troopers. They make for the car and I say, "We've got to get out of here". But the car doesn't move. I say, "Lets go!" and look over at my partner, who's head is being consumed by a bug that broke through his window. I pull out my piece and shoot at it 4 or 5 times. The car starts to move. Not back and forth but up and down. And the floor bulges. So I shoot at the floor and empty my clip. It doesn't kill the bug but allows it to come in through the floor and start eating my legs. So I scream. And reach over and grab my partners piece. Safety off.. bam bam bam... I try to kill the bug as it bites off my shins. But it doesn't die... so I put the gun to my head. Slow motion... a groan. And I'm awake.

Evidently there's some concern as to the authenticity of my 'daily picture'.

 

"how do we know that the photos you post with a certain date were actually taken on that said day?"

 

"...what happens when you are traveling in, say the himalayas or even in the countryside of IRELAND, and cannot access the internet?"
